They offer me 2 plans the discovery and the open water certification, and I am the guy that is the kind that goes all the way. So, I decided to take the open water certification, and I would talk a little about my background. I almost drowned in mazatlan around 2018 , so it was challenge for me to confront one of my fears, but stephane my instructor help me overcome all my fears, and he was with me during all my path, and he help overcome my fear and help me to fall in love with diving, the energy of that school is amazing and everyone that work there are great I really recommend anyone to go out in one of the many trips that they have, they focus on safety and service and make you feel part of their family.

Summary: My son recently completed his second Discover Scuba Diving trip with the Entourage crew—his first was three years ago—and once again, it was absolutely fantastic. Stephane and his team are top-notch: incredibly professional, exceptionally well-organized, and their gear is in excellent condition. While my son explored the underwater world with their expert guidance, my brother and I enjoyed a stunning two-tank dive at the Marietas Islands. The marine life was incredible—truly a diver’s dream. A quick word of advice: book early! Last year, we waited too long and ended up going with a different operator. I’ve been diving for 30 years, and that was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. The operation was chaotic, the gear questionable, and their truck broke down en route to the harbor. They should’ve canceled the trip given the ocean conditions, but didn’t. What was supposed to be a half-day outing turned into an exhausting ordeal—we didn’t get back until 6 p.m., and nearly everyone was seasick. Trust me—Entourage is the way to go. We won’t dive with anyone else in the area again.

From start to finish, the entire experience was seamless and unforgettable. The staff at Sayulita Entourage is incredibly knowledgeable and responsive, which immediately put me at ease. A special shoutout goes to Stephane, who made my first dive absolutely amazing. He took the time to walk me through each of the training exercises with patience and clarity, making sure I felt confident, comfortable, and, most importantly, safe while navigating the open water. His communication style was exceptional—he clearly explained each exercise on the boat and what to expect once we were underwater. I really appreciated his hands-on approach, which not only made the entire experience fun but also incredibly easy to understand. One thing that really stood out was how Stephane continuously checked on me throughout the dive, ensuring I felt secure and comfortable. As an added bonus, he recorded the entire dive, so I now have the footage to look back on whenever I want to relive this magical experience. There’s a lot to remember when it comes to scuba diving—the gear, breathing, buoyancy, and emergency protocols—but Stephane made sure I had a solid understanding of all these topics before we progressed. His thorough instruction gave me the confidence to dive deeper into the experience, and I truly felt prepared every step of the way. If you're looking to get scuba certified in Sayulita, this is definitely the place to go. Sayulita Entourage offers top-notch instruction in a beautiful setting, and I couldn't imagine a better place to start my diving journey. This was an unforgettable experience that I will treasure forever. I’m already looking forward to returning to Sayulita Entourage for my advanced diving certifications. Summary: Wonderful experience! My daughter and I did a single dive with Stephane as our guide while the rest of the family went for a snorkeling tour. Despite the poor visibility, Stephane’s calm confidence, relaxed humour and expert knowledge of the area helped make for a very memorable experience. When poor visibility threatened to ruin the experience for the snorkelers, the crew quickly rallied with a beach tour, photo shoot, and exceptional wale watching. Summary: I got my scuba certification with Stefan, and I couldn't be happier. He was patient, hilarious, and spoke amazing English. I always felt very safe, which is important for scuba diving. I was able to focus on the beauty of the ocean instead of worrying about what could go wrong. If you can go with Stefan, do it! One not-so-perfect thing about my experience was how small the pool was on the first day. It was a little crowded with me and three other students swimming around. The deepest it got was maybe 5 feet.

Summary: Great experience as a first time diver. The office was responsive and informative ahead of time so I had all the information I needed. Stefan was a very patient instructor and made sure I felt comfortable with all the required techniques. The crew on the open water dives were friendly and supportive. I had a great time and highly recommend this to anyone considering getting their scuba certificate.

Our guide and mentor Stephan was extremely knowledgeable, clear in many languages, fun and thoughtful. He made us extremely comfortable and confident as we learned a new skill. Summary: I had THE BEST time learning to scuba with Stefan!! I was super nervous because I can panic when breathing feels weird and part of me was worried I wouldn’t be able to do it. Stefan was patient, kind and incredibly helpful in helping me stay calm and learn the techniques during a pre-dive pool session. During the first dive, I started freaking out on the way down. Stefan helped me breathe, stay calm, and get to the bottom where we had an incredible dive!! 10/10 would recommend Sayulita Entourage, especially Stefan as a scuba instructor.
